The No. 14 Texas A&M baseball team will host the Texas State Bobcats in a non-conference game this Tuesday. First pitch is set for 7 p.m. at Olsen Field.
As an added treat, fans will be able to purchase 50-cent Slovacek sausages-on-a-stick while supplies last.
The Aggies enter the game with a record of 33-12 overall and improved to 9-8 in Big 12 play by winning two games against Missouri this past weekend. The series finale was rained out.
Texas State won two of three games from Southland Conference foe Texas-Arlington this past weekend, improving its record to 24-19. The Bobcats are 11-6 in conference play.
The Aggies defeated the Bobcats, 10-5, at the Dell Diamond in Round Rock, Texas, earlier in the year to improve their the all-time series advantage to 30-8.
Dan Donaldson will start on the mound for A&M. The sophomore left-hander will be making his 11th appearance and his fourth start of the season. Donaldson has not recorded a decision this season and has an ERA of 5.32 in 22.0 innings of work.
Texas State will counter with junior lefty Brain Hurley, who is 1-4 with a 6.23 ERA in 39.0 innings.
