Texas A&M and LSU will square off in NCAA Super Regional action this weekend from Alex Box Stadium in Baton Rouge, with the winner earning a trip to Omaha and the College World Series.
The best-of-three series is scheduled for this Saturday at 6 p.m. (CDT) and Sunday at 5 p.m. (CDT). If a third game is necessary, it will be played on Monday at either noon, 3 p.m. or 6 p.m. (CDT).
ESPN's exclusive national coverage of the NCAA Division I baseball tournament will feature every game of the Super Regional round either on ESPN, ESPN2 or .
, fans tuning in to ESPN2 (or ESPN on Monday) should be able to watch the A&M/LSU games in their entirety.
In the home markets of the competing teams, ESPN or ESPN2 will televise the game of local interest. While constant updates from the other games will be provided, the networks, for the most part, will not switch to another game during live action, thereby establishing home market protection.
The rest of the country will be part of ESPN's Whiparound coverage, where ESPN and ESPN2 will take viewers to the best action from different games.
Therefore, anyone living outside the states of Texas and Louisiana must purchase the ESPN College Grand Slam pay-per-view package to guarantee seeing the A&M games in their entirety.
