The Texas A&M baseball team's NCAA regional opener against Lamar at Reckling Park in Houston has been postponed due to rain with the Aggies leading 6-0 entering the top of the fifth inning.
The game will resume on Saturday at 10 a.m. (CDT) with Lamar coming to bat in the top of the fifth.
Reckling Park gates will open at 9 a.m. Fans who attended the first part of the game on Friday night must have their ticket stub to gain re-entry.
The winner of the A&M/Lamar game will meet Texas Southern, 4-3 winners over host Rice on Friday, on Saturday afternoon. The loser of the game between the Aggies and the Cardinals will turn around and play the Owls upon completion on the suspended game.
