Texas A&M will offer recent graduates of the University the opportunity to purchase half-price tickets for Aggie home football games in a new ticket policy announced by Director of Athletics Bill Byrne on Thursday.

"Recent graduates have many demands such as paying off student loans, undertaking new jobs, and in some cases welcoming new additions to their families," Byrne said. "They are unable to purchase season tickets, but would love to come back to Kyle Field. Those former students from the Class of 2000 through the Class of 2004 will have the opportunity to sign up on-line for half-price tickets."

"Our students, who continue to receive tickets at half price, will conduct their regular draw Monday through Thursday," Byrne continued. "There is not a student body in the country more loyal to their school, or its football team, than the 12th Man. In fact, I believe we save more space for our student body, approximately 30,000 tickets, than any other institution in the country."

"With that being said, there are times when some student ticket options are not exercised," Byrne stated. "Throughout the week, our ticket office will be sending updates via email to recent grads who have registered to update them on the availability of the tickets. Any tickets available, which are usually the ends of the third deck, will be available at 8 p.m. on Thursday. It is a first-come, first-served basis with a limit of two for those former students who have registered. As a condition, the recent grad and their guest must honor the tradition of the 12th Man and stand throughout the game along with the rest of the student body."

Complete details can be accessed by clicking on the ticket link on the 12th Man Foundation website. Former students from the Class of 2000 through the Class of 2004 can register at this site as well. Advanced registration is necessary to verify the graduation status.

If there are any tickets remaining as of Friday prior to a home game, phone and ticket window sales will be available to those recent grads. The graduate must know their universal identification number (UIN) to place an order by phone or at the window. Recent graduates can go to https://myrecord.tamu.edu and retrieve their UIN number.

Recent graduate tickets will be distributed at the will call windows located at the north end of Kyle Field.

The Aggies open the home portion of the 2004 campaign with a Sept. 11 contest against Wyoming with kick slated for 2:30 p.m.
