The Texas A&M football team closed out Monday's two-a-day workouts with a one-and-a half hour afternoon practice in shorts and helmets at the grass practice fields.
A&M head coach Dennis Franchione said his team is gearing up for a scrimmage on Tuesday.
"We had a good day of practice and got a lot of work done with some situational drills," Franchione said. "This morning's practice was a grinder, but it was good coming back from Sunday's scrimmage. We had a short hour and a half practice in shorts and helmets in the afternoon to stay fresh for (Tuesday's) scrimmage."
