CLEMSON CONNECTIONS:
Clemson head coach Tommy Bowden has coached at Kyle Field once previously. Bowden was Alabama's wide receiver coach when the Crimson Tide and the Aggies faced off in the infamous "Hurricane Bowl" in 1988. The game was postponed from its scheduled mid-September date to Dec. 1 due to concerns about Hurricane Gilbert. Alabama went on to a 30-10 in Jackie Sherrill's final game at Texas A&M.
