A&M junior Andrew Parr is tied for 24th at 71-75=146, junior Jerad Harklau is tied for 37th (71-77=148), senior David Schultz is tied for 56th (75-75=150) and freshman Bobby Gates is tied for 64th (80-71=151).
"I was proud of how we played today," A&M coach J.T. Higgins said. "We held together and battled the whole day. The course was set up very tough and we played it pretty well. Piller is having a fantastic tournament, especially for a freshman. He's one of the best putters I've coached. He only had 48 putts in two rounds today and just did a great job for us."
