The Texas A&M softball team wraps up the home portion of its fall schedule this week with a pair of doubleheaders at the Aggie Softball Complex.
On Wednesday, the Aggies host Blinn College in a doubleheader beginning at 4 p.m., while on Thursday A&M faces Temple Junior College in a twinbill slated for a 5 p.m. start. Admission is free to all games.
The Aggies are a perfect 4-0 in fall action thus far including a pair of wins over Sam Houston State this past Saturday in College Station.
In the first game, Aggie sophomore hurler Christina Smith got the victory in a 4-2 win over the Ladykats. Sophomore Laura Durham provided the offensive punch with a two-run home run.
In game two, A&M freshman Megan Gibson's three-run double was all the Aggies needed to sweep the doubleheader, 3-2. Freshman Amanda Scarborough earned the win on the hill.
Following the doubleheaders against Blinn and Temple, Texas A&M will close out the fall season at the Spring-Klein College Classic this weekend. The Aggies will play three games on Saturday (11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 5 p.m.) and two on Sunday (11 a.m. and 1 p.m.), all at Collins Park in Spring, Texas.
