Texas A&M junior placekicker Todd Pegram was named SBC Big 12 Conference Special Teams Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday.

Pegram hit on all five field goal attempts, including a 19-yard game-winner in overtime, to give Texas A&M a 29-26 victory over Colorado. He converted from 23, 25, 34, 20, and 19 yards. Pegram forced the overtime with a 20-yard field goal as time expired.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Vince Young, So, QB, Texas (Houston, Texas)

Young paced the Longhorns to a 51-21 win at then-No. 24 Texas Tech by accounting for five touchdowns and 300 yards of offense. He established a Texas quarterback-record with four scoring scampers, while rushing for 158 yards. He also completed 10-of-15 pass attempts for 142 yards, and one touchdown.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Brandon Brown, Sr, LB, Iowa State (Houston, Texas)

Brown was credited with a game-high 13 tackles, including eight solo stops, a forced fumble, recovered two fumbles, and a sack in Iowa State's 26-25 win at Baylor. Brown led a defensive effort that held the Bears to 140 yards rushing and forced four Baylor turnovers as the Cyclones claimed their first Big 12 conference game road victory since 2001.
