October 29, 2004

I know it has been awhile, but here I am, checking back in.

Our fall season is officially over...dang it. Which means we have no more team practices, games, or road trips. I think I speak for everyone when I say, our fall season was AWESOME!! We went a big 13-0, which I think is the first time we have had an undefeated fall season since I have been here. We are so talented and strong in so many different places. It is very exciting! I CANNOT wait until season starts!! We will be giving teams much more than they can handle!

Last week we played our annual Maroon and White Series games. For those of you who don't know, Maroon/White is where we are split up into two teams and then we play each other in a three-game series. We always add a little extra flavor to the series by making the losing team cook the winning team dinner. Maroon and White is one of my favorite things we do! We are all VERY competitive, so it usually gets pretty brutal! Personally, I think this year's series went really well. It is probably because the White team, my team, won the series in two games. WHOOP!! It was great! Now we can just sit back, relax, and wait for our dinner night.

This week we started off-season. We lift with Ray on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 7 a.m. and run on Tuesday and Thursday at 3:30 p.m. I was under the impression that we were in shape during our fall season, but apparently I was VERY wrong. It is only the fourth day and my body is so sore! But hey, it is making us even stronger so....

Next week we will be in our second week of off-season and we will also be starting individuals again. This second set of individuals is very productive because we, as players, can work on things we struggled with in the fall. It helps us to elevate our game and make our team EVEN better!

I guess that's about all from here.

Till next time,
Adrian
