Texas A&M's Christi Hahn was named to the Academic All-District VI Women's Volleyball Second Team, the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) recently announced.

Hahn, a sophomore right-side hitter from Leander, Texas, sports a 4.0 grade-point average while majoring in general studies.

On the court, Hahn is in her first season as a starter for the 13th-ranked Aggies and ranks second on the team with a .310 hitting efficiency. She ranks third on the team with 1.01 blocks per game. In addition, Hahn is averaging 2.19 kills per game, and she has reached double figures in kills in seven matches, including a career-high 14 kills against No. 9 Texas on Thursday.

The academic team was selected by members of CoSIDA in District VI, which encompasses the states of Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas. To be eligible for academic all-district honors, student-athletes must be a starter or key reserve, have at least a 3.20 cumulative grade-point average and have achieved at least sophomore status.

Hahn and the Aggies (16-6, 12-4 Big 12) return to action Wednesday when they play host to Iowa State. First serve is slated for 7 p.m. at G. Rollie White Coliseum.
