Friday was a quiet day, with only a walk-through and one final Cotton Bowl function scheduled. The team then entered into normal "night before the game" preparations for Saturday's kickoff.
COUNTDOWN TO KICKOFF: 1 day.
SPOTLIGHT ON FRIDAY:
- The Aggies attended SBC's Big Play Luncheon held at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Dallas.
- Later in the afternoon, the team went to the Cotton Bowl and did a brief walk-through of the stadium in preparation for Saturday's game.
- The team then checked into a different hotel, similar to the normal road game routine that has the Aggies staying in a hotel for just the night before the game. Normal Friday preparations for a game took place, and the Aggies have an early wake-up on Saturday with the 10 a.m. kickoff.
