Due to increased demand by the general public for tickets to the remaining Texas A&M home basketball games, the Athletic Department has developed a policy to accommodate as many students as possible for the men's and women's games, the school announced Friday.

"Because of the increased ticket demand we want to ensure that we take care of as many student ticket requests as possible," said A&M Senior Associate AD for External Operations Jeff Schmahl. "One of the unique qualities about Texas A&M is our students, and the tremendous energy and enthusiasm they bring to our athletic events. We want to make sure they have a strong presence at our remaining basketball games this season."

Previously, students could pull tickets for up to seven games at a time, but to allow more students to have access to tickets for men's and women's home games, a game-by-game ticket pull has been implemented.

The number of seats reserved for students has not changed and for many games the number seats will increase.

Students with an athletic department All-Sports Pass can now pull their general admission ticket for the next basketball game beginning at 8 a.m. the next business day following that team's previous home game. The policy applies to men's and women's games.

Any A&M student who does not have an All-Sports Option can purchase a general admission ticket for half-price with a student ID.

As previously announced, the student ticket pull for next Saturday's men's game against Kansas State and women's game against Oklahoma will be available beginning Tuesday at 8 a.m.

Students with All-Sports Passes can pick up their ticket at the Athletic Department Ticket Office located inside The Zone at Kyle Field or at the Reed Arena Box Office during normal business hours. The Reed Arena Box Office is also open four hours before tip-off at all men's home games.

Students must present a valid student ID to pull the ticket and must have the ID accompanying the ticket when entering the arena.

Additional student seats, including standing room only, will be made available each game prior to tip-off.

Single game ticket sales for the general public are on sale now for ALL remaining men's and women's home games. Prices for men's games start at $6 while the women's games start at $4.

The Athletic Department encourages the general public to avoid lines on game days by picking up their tickets early.

Tickets for all remaining home games may be purchased in advance by calling the Athletic Department Ticeket Office at 979-845-2311 or 1-888-99-AGGIE, or at the Reed Arena box office. Reed Arena has free 30 minute parking for those picking up tickets. Tickets can also be purchased on-line at AggieAthletics.com
