Aggie Softball Begins Spring Practice
The Texas A&M softball team will begin workouts for the 2005 season today, Tuesday, January 18, at 3:15 p.m. at the Aggie Softball Complex.
"We had a great fall season and are ready begin the 2005 season," A&M head coach Jo Evans commented. Our players worked extremely hard in the off-season and are anxious to get on the field and put all that hard work to use. With the return of so many experienced players, and the addition of our very talented newcomers, we enter the season with a lot of excitement and confidence."
A&M returns eight everyday starters and two pitchers from a team that posted a 33-22 overall record and their 15th postseason appearance in 2004.
Preseason polls will be released on January 25th.
Texas A&M opens the 2005 campaign on Friday, February 4 at 3 p.m. against North Texas at the Aggie Softball Complex.
