The Texas A&M men's golf team placed sixth with an 861 at the Arizona Intercollegiate at the Arizona National Golf Club on Tuesday.
A&M fired a 291 for a three-day total of 861.
New Mexico captured first with an 840, followed by BYU (840), Tulsa (851), Arizona (852), Arizona St. (854), A&M (861), Arizona B (862), UC Irvine (867), New Miexcio St. (869), UC Riverside (873), Fresno St. (878), Colorado (886), Oregon (887), California (890), UTEP (899) and Long Beach St. (907).
Alejandro Canizares of Arizona St. captured the individual title with a 65-66-71=202 for an 11-under par.
A&M was led by Jerad Harklau, who shot a 2-under par 69 on Tuesday for a three-day total (72-71-69=212). Harklau tied for 10th place, followed by Trey Todd (72-69-74=215) tied for 19th, Bobby Gates (70-73-76=219) tied for 34th, Andrew Parr (70-73-78=221) tied for 46th and David Schultz (80-77-73=230) tied for 66th.
