The No. 23 Texas A&M softball team (5-0) will put its undefeated record on the line Wednesday when they host Stephen F. Austin (3-3) in a doubleheader beginning at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Aggie Softball Complex.
"After winning two games over NCAA Tournament teams on Sunday, we are ready to get back on the field and continue building on our early season success," A&M head coach Jo Evans stated.
The Aggies enter the doubleheader with an undefeated record after a five-inning run rule of Massachusetts (8-0), and a 4-0 shutout of Chattanooga at a rain-shortened Kajikawa Classic over the weekend.
SFA enters the match-up fresh off a sweep of Texas Southern where they outscored TSU 28-0 in two five-inning games.
The Aggies' doubleheader with SFA kicks off an eight-game home stand that will continue with the Aggie Classic on Friday and end with Sam Houston next Wednesday.
