The No. 16 Texas A&M softball team (11-1) will host former the Sam Houston State Bearkats (4-10) in a midweek match-up beginning at 4 p.m. at the Aggie Softball Field on Wednesday.
"We have played really well so far this season," A&M head coach Jo Evans stated. "We are excited to play our eighth home game in the last week because of the great fan support that we have had so far this season. The student's involvement in the games has been tremendous and their impact can be seen by the performance on the field."
The Aggies are off to their best start since the 1991 squad also began the season with an 11-1 record. A&M began the season with a nine-game win streak.
