Andrew Parr and David Schultz each carded one-over-par 73s on Sunday to lead Texas A&M into second place after the first round of the Seminole Intercollegiate at Golden Eagle Country Club.
The tournament continues with Monday's second round and concludes with Tuesday's final round.
A&M posted a team score of six-over-par 294 and trails leader Coastal Carolina (291) by three strokes. North Carolina State is tied with the Aggies at 294.
Central Florida and North Carolina are tied for fourth (295), followed by Vanderbilt (296), Virginia (296), Florida State (297), Mississippi (299), East Tennessee State (299), North Florida (304) and College of Charleston (309).
East Tennessee State's Rhys Davies and Virginia's Kevin O'Connell share the individual lead after firing three-under-par 69s. Coastal Carolina's Moises Cobo is third after a 70. Parr and Schultz are tied at 11th place.
A&M junior Jerad Harklau and freshman Bobby Gates are tied for 20th after posting 74s, while freshman Trey Todd is tied for 36th after a 76.
