The Texas A&M men's golf team carded a 10-over-par 298 on Monday and is in fifth place after two rounds of the Seminole Intercollegiate at Golden Eagle Country Club. The final round is scheduled for Tuesday.
Coastal Carolina leads the tournament by eight strokes with an even-par total of 291-285=576. Central Florida is second (584), followed by Vanderbilt (589), Florida State (591), A&M (294-298=592), Virginia (592), North Carolina (594), Mississippi (597), East Tennessee State (598), North Florida (599), North Carolina State (606) and College of Charleston (613).
East Tennessee State's Rhys Davies leads the individual standings with an eight-under-par total of 69-67=136. Virginia's Kevin O'Connell (69-71=140) and Central Florida's Andreas Hoegberg (71-69=140) are four strokes back.
A&M junior Andrew Parr is tied for 17th (73-73=146), while junior Jerad Harklaus (74-73=147) and senior David Schultz (73-74=147) are tied for 18th. Freshman Bobb Gates is tied for 40th (74-78=152) and freshman Trey Todd is tied for 47th (76-78=154).
