The No. 11 Texas A&M softball team (21-2) will head to Houston to take on the Cougars (13-10) in a midweek doubleheader beginning at 5 p.m. at the Cougar Softball Field on the University of Houston Campus.
The Aggies are coming off a successful weekend that saw them go 5-0 and win the St. Joseph Texas A&M Invitational.
Sophomore Jill Weynand earned the Big 12 Pitcher of the Week award after going 2-0 in the tournament and recording a perfect game, the first of her career, in an 11-strikeout performance against Miami University on Friday.
