The No. 10 Texas A&M softball team (23-2) will begin play in the Florida Atlantic Parent's Weekend Classic on Friday at the FAU campus. The Aggies open the tournament against Michigan St. at 8 a.m. (CST) followed with the FAU Owls at noon.
Saturday, A&M continues play against Florida International and Wisconsin before closing the tournament out on Sunday with bracket play.
"We are excited to get back on the field," A&M head coach Jo Evans commented. "We look forward to continue to improve against some really good teams as we finish out our non-conference schedule."
The Aggies take their third seven-game win streak of the season into the weekend as they begin play in their fifth tournament of the season. The Aggies, who are off to their best start since the NCAA adopted softball in 1983, are 15-2 in tournament play this season.
