Bobby Leach scored 23 points and Dominque Kirk drained a pair of free throws in the final 10 seconds as Texas A&M beat DePaul, 75-72, in the second round of the National Invitation Tournament Saturday at Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Ill.
A&M improves to 21-9 overall and will face the winner of Holy Cross, St. Joseph's or Buffalo on Wednesday at a site to be determined.
Leach's 23 points were the second most of his career.
Kirk went to the free throw line on two occasions in the final 10 seconds. He was 2-of-4 on the two visits.
Time expired as DePaul attempted a three pointer and a pair of tap backs.
