The No. 7 Texas A&M softball team will open Big 12 play against No. 7 Baylor at Getterman Stadium in Waco on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.
The 28-2 Aggies, who are 46-13 all-time against the Bears, are riding a 12-game win streak and are off to their best start in school history while the Bears (29-3) enter the game with a 10-game win streak of their own.
"This is going to be a great match-up," commented A&M head coach Jo Evans. "Both teams are on a roll and are playing with a lot of confidence. We have been very consistent throughout the non-conference season and we are excited to step between the lines and face off with the rest of the Big 12."
The Aggies are coming off a 5-0 weekend that saw them win the FAU Parent's Weekend tournament while the Bears took the weekend off.
