The Texas A&M volleyball team begins its spring exhibition season Friday as the Aggies participate in the Florida State Spring Tournament in Tallahassee.
All matches will be played at the Tully Gym, and admission is free.
The Aggies are slated to play three matches at the one-day tournament starting with a 9 a.m. (EST) match against Jacksonville State. A&M faces North Florida at 1 p.m. and concludes the tournament against the host Seminoles at 4 p.m.
Matches will be three games. The first two games will be to 30 points, and the third game will be played to 15 points.
This is the first of three tournaments the Aggies will participate in during the spring. On April 9, A&M is scheduled to play in a tournament hosted by the University of Texas in Austin. The Aggies conclude the spring season at a tournament hosted by Rice on April 16.
Texas A&M coach Laurie Corbelli returns five starters from the fall season in which the Aggies went 19-9. A&M was ranked No. 20 in the final national poll after making its 12th consecutive NCAA tournament appearance and advancing to the second round.
