The Texas A&M men's golf team carded rounds of 298-309=607 on Monday and is in seventh place at the Morris Williams Intercollegiate at Austin Country Club.
Several teams were still on the course when second-round play was halted because of darkness. Play will resume on Tuesday morning, followed immediately by the final round.
No. 6-ranked Florida leads the tournament at six-under-par, followed by top-ranked Oklahoma State (+7), No. 18 Texas (+18), Tulsa (+19), SMU (+23), Oklahoma (+25), A&M (+31), No. 9 BYU (+34), Arkansas (+34), Baylor (+35), Texas Tech (+36), Fresno State (+37), Virginia (+44), Houston (+47) and Rice (+53).
Florida's Richard Treis leads the individual standings by two strokes with a four-under-par total of 69-71=140.
A&M was led by junior Andrew Parr, who is tied for 25th with a 74-77=151 total. Junior Jerad Harklau (75-77=152) and senior David Schultz (75-77=152) are tied for 30th, freshman Robert Gates is tied for 50th (74-82=156) and freshman Matt Van Zandt is tied for 59th (80-78=158). Competing as an individual, freshman Trey Todd is tied for 45th (76-79=155).
