FSN Southwest will air highlights of the 2005 Texas A&M spring football game on Saturday, Apr. 23 at 3:30 p.m. central. Aggie head football coach Dennis Franchione will serve as host of the 30-minute special.
"We appreciate Fox Sports covering our spring game and giving fans who could not attend a chance to see some of the activities surrounding the game," Coach Fran said.
In addition to highlights of the 20-3 White victory over the Maroon, the cameras were rolling at the players autograph session as well as the autograph session with former head coach Emory Bellard and players from Coach Bellard's era. The crew caught a couple of comments from Aggie Director of Athletics Bill Byrne at his annual state of the department address as well as the kid's clinic on Kyle Field and the Bevo BBQ on Simpson Drill Field.
Coach Fran and his staff allowed tremendous access to the FSN crew as defensive back Jaxson Appel and quarterback Stephen McGee were miked during the game and followed the players into the dressing room at halftime.
In addition to Saturday's coverage, FSN will air the show on Tuesday, Apr. 26 at 2 p.m.
