The Texas A&M men's golf team has been invited to the NCAA Central Regional May 19-21 in South Bend, Ind., the NCAA Division I Men's Golf Committee announced Monday.

Three regional tournaments, encompassing the current nine regions, will be played with a total of 27 teams and six individuals not on selected teams assigned to each regional site. The top 10 teams and two individuals not on advancing teams will move on from each regional to the NCAA Championships June 1-4 at Caves Valley Golf Club in Owings Mills, Md. The East Regional will be in Nashville, Tenn., with the West Regional played in Stanford, Calif.

The Aggies will be making their third straight regional appearance under coach J.T. Higgins and their 14th since the regional format began in 1989. Last year, A&M finished fourth at the Central Regional in West Lafayette, La., and went on to a 14th-place effort at nationals.

Listed below are the teams and individuals selected to participate in the championships. Teams winning automatic qualification are designated by their conferences in parentheses.
