Texas A&M soccer signee Cydne Currie will participate in the U-21 U.S. National Team training camp from May 22-28 at the Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif.

Currie (Irving, Texas)c, who will be a freshman at A&M in the fall, completed her high school exams early in order to attend the largest-ever Women's National Team Program training camp. The U-20 and U-21 training camps will be held concurrently with each team bringing in 32-player rosters.

This is a fantastic opportunity for Cydne," commented A&M head coach G Guerrieri. "She is already a great player and to go and be seen and coached by the national team coaches at an event like this can only make her better. This is a great start to the next step in Cydne's soccer career."

Currie, who was recently named a Parade All-American, will join the perennially nationally-ranked Aggie soccer team in the fall as part of another stellar signing class under Guerrieri and his staff. Last season the Aggies' 11-member freshman class was ranked No.1 in the nation and helped lead the Aggies to the Big 12 Regular Season and Tournament championships.
