Texas A&M senior Andrew Parr fired a six-under-par 66 on Monday to win medalist honors at the Canadian Men's Amateur Championship at Bell Bay Golf Club.
Parr's 67-66=133 total was four shots ahead of runner-up James Love of Calgary, who carded rounds of 71-66=137.
The top 64 players advance to match play, which begins on Tuesday. The 36-hole championship match will be on Friday.
