The sixth-ranked Texas A&M soccer team defeated Southern Mississippi, 4-0, in an exhibition match before an estimated 2,400 fans at the Aggie Soccer Stadium on Saturday.
The Aggies controlled play the entire match, outshooting the Golden Eagles, 26-2. Three first half goals all but sealed the win for A&M.
"I was ???," commented A&M head coach G Guerrieri. "???."
The Aggies return to action this Sunday, August 28, when they travel to Ft. Worth to take on Texas Christian University. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. at the Garvey-Rosenthal Soccer Stadium.
