Texas A&M carded a final round of 295 on Saturday and tied for eighth at the William H. Tucker Intercollegiate at the University of New Mexico's Championship Golf Course.
UNLV won with a 13-under-par total of 851, finishing 10 strokes ahead of runner-up BYU (861). Texas Tech was third (862), followed by Baylor (870), Colorado (872), Nevada (875), Northwestern (875), A&M (294-290-295=879), Arizona (879), New Mexico (879), San Diego State (884), Fresno State (885), Wyoming (885), Denver (889), New Mexico (891), Colorado State (894), New Mexico State (896), Air Force (902), Texas-El Paso (904), and Iowa State (908).
UNLV's Andres Gonzales captured the individual title with a nine-under total of 67-72-68=207. UNLV's Jarred Texter was second at 69-72-68=209.
A&M was led by senior Andrew Parr, who tied for 13th at 72-70-74=216. Sophomore Robert Gates tied for 17th (73-74-70=217), while freshman Bronson Burgoon tied for 63rd (76-72-77=225), junior Chris Massoletti tied for 76th (74-74-80=228) and senior Jerad Harklau tied for 79th (75-80-74=229). Sophomore Kris Devlin, competing as an individual, tied for 93rd (75-87-73=235).
