Former Texas A&M offensive lineman Richmond Webb, who played 13 seasons in the NFL, will serve as honorary captain prior to the Aggies' football game with Baylor on Saturday at Kyle Field which starts at 11:30 a.m.

Webb, originally from Dallas, played 11 seasons for the Miami Dolphins before wrapping his career for two seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals.

A first round draft pick, and ninth selection overall, in 1990 by the Miami Dolphins, Webb was a seven-time Pro Bowl selection. In fact, Webb was selected to seven consecutive Pro Bowls from 1990 to 1996, which included his rookie season.

Webb was named the NFL Rookie of the Year in 1990 by The Sporting News.

A starter in 179 NFL contests, Webb helped Miami to the playoffs in eight of his 11 seasons there. He was a key blocker in the pass protection for Hall of Fame quarterback Dan Marino in the 1990s.

Later, Webb was a key contributor for the Bengals. The offensive line allowed fourth-fewest sacks in team history and had second-best individual rushing performance.
