Texas A&M's football game with Oklahoma State on Saturday, Oct. 15 will kickoff at 2:30 p.m. at Kyle Field, however the contest will not be televised as the Big 12 Conference's television partners did not select the game for broadcast, the school said Monday.

A&M Athletic Director Bill Byrne and football coach Dennis Franchione set the start time while considering the forecasted temperature and travel time for the fans.

"After discussing the options with Coach Fran and our senior staff, we feel like a 2:30 p.m. kickoff is the optimal time," Byrne said. "We took into consideration the anticipated weather that our players and fans will experience, while at the same time allowing our fans from out of town to drive in and get home at a decent hour."

It will mark the first game for the Aggies this season that will not be televised.

Three league games will be televised that day as ABC will show Kansas State at Texas Tech at 11 a.m. followed by Colorado at Texas at 2:30 p.m. TBS will wrap the Big 12 television day with Kansas versus Oklahoma being contested in Kansas City, Mo. at 6 p.m.

A&M (3-1, 1-0) will face Colorado (3-1, 1-0) this Saturday at 6 p.m. (central) at Folsom Field in Boulder, Colo. The game will be televised nationally by Fox Sports Net.
