Texas A&M (7-7, 0-5 Big 12) and Oklahoma (5-10, 0-6 Big 12) both will be looking for their first Big 12 victory of the season when the two teams clash Saturday at 7 p.m. at McCasland Field House in Norman. A complete release in pdf format is available at AggieAthletics.com

The 23rd-ranked Aggies, who have faced one of the most difficult schedules in the nation, suffered their sixth consecutive loss and dropped to 0-5 in Big 12 matches after falling to No. 19 Texas, 3-2 (19-30, 30-28, 25-30, 30-28, 9-15) Wednesday in College Station. Texas marked the fourth consecutive Top 20 team the Aggies have faced and the sixth Top 20 team A&M has met in the last eight matches.

The Sooners are mired in a seven-match losing skid after dropping a five-game match at Oral Roberts in a non-conference contest on Wednesday. Oklahoma was swept by then-No. 22 Texas in the Sooners' most recent Big 12 match and fell to 0-6 in conference matches.

The match at Oklahoma will be the Aggies' eighth match in the last 10 played away from home. A&M is 2-5 in matches played away from the friendly confines of G. Rollie White Coliseum.

Oklahoma is 1-3 in home matches.

Texas A&M leads the all-time series, 27-1, since the teams first met in 1976. The Aggies have won the last 24 meetings including all 18 Big 12 matches. Oklahoma's only victory against A&M was Sept. 15, 1979, at the North Texas State Tournament in Denton, Texas.

Upcoming - The Aggies continue their road swing as they travel to Ames, Iowa on Wednesday to take on the Iowa State Cyclones. First serve is at 7 p.m. at Hilton Coliseum. The Aggies are 20-1 all-tie against the Cyclones and have won the last 19 matches dating back to the 1989 season. The Cyclones are 4-2 in the Big 12 entering a Saturday contest at No. 20 Kansas State. Wins have come against Texas, Colorado, Baylor and Texas Tech. Losses were to No. 1 Nebraska and No. 10 Missouri.

A&M returns to G. Rollie Sunday, Oct. 16 for a 2 p.m. match against Colorado.
