Howdy!!
Well, I am actually on the charter flight back from Ames, Iowa right now! We just picked up another win against Iowa State and I am very excited about the way that we have been playing recently. We lost the first game but quickly turned things around and played really tough and together as a team. Christi Hahn and Kelly Stanton had great nights for us and both had a career high in kills. Things are good because I feel that our team is getting into a rhythm and playing really great TEAM volleyball. We also won last Saturday in Norman against Oklahoma. These two wins on the road in the very difficult Big 12 Conference are very helpful to the team in terms of confidence and it shows us what things we can achieve when we come ready to play hard.
We are really eager to return home for a while and have the support of our wonderful and loud home crowd. We get to play on Sunday at 2:00 against Colorado and again on Wednesday at 6:30 against Baylor. The best part is that all of these games are at G. Rollie White!! We hope that you all will be out there to support us and cheer us on to some more conference victories. Have a great week and we can't wait to see you all on Sunday!
