The 19th-ranked Texas A&M soccer team (9-3-1, 3-2 Big 12) is looking to take the momentum gained in a huge 4-0 win over Nebraska with it on the road Friday as it faces the Sooners from Oklahoma (11-2-1, 3-1-1 Big 12) at 7:00 p.m. at the John Crain Field in Norman.

"This is another big weekend for us," commented A&M head coach G. Guerrieri. "One that will feature three of the top attacking teams in the conference, in A&M, OU and OSU. Both OU and OSU seem to be greatly improved just since last year. We're expecting two challenging contests."

Entering into Friday night's match, sophomore forward Melissa Garey is tied for the conference lead with Oklahoma State's (9-3-2, 2-3 Big 12) Jesyca Rosholt for most goals scored with 11. Garey is second in the Big 12 in points per game with 24 and teammate Ashlee Pistorius holds the third spot with 21.

Two-time senior All-American, Kati Jo Spisak holds the best goals against average in the conference, 0.69, while OU's Jennifer Nichols is right behind Spisak at #2 with a 0.75 average.

The Aggies' win over Nebraska, Sunday, marked the first time junior forward Kat Krambeer recorded a collegiate hat-trick and also was the first time in 375:53 minutes of play that NU's freshman goalkeeper, Jamie Klages had been scored on.

Kansas handed OU their first Big 12 loss on Sunday, 3-0, at the Jayhawk Soccer Complex in Lawrence, snapping the Sooners' 10-game winning streak. Senior Lauren MacIver and junior Savannah Scott lead OU's scoring attack with six goals apiece.

A&M leads the all-time series against OU 10-0.The Sooners are coached by Randy Evans who is in his sixth year with the program and are in a four-way tie (Nebraska, Iowa State and Kansas) for first place in conference standings.

The Aggies will conclude the weekend's games in Stillwater on Sunday when they face the OSU Cowgirls at 1:00 p.m. at the Cowgirl Soccer Complex. The Aggies hold the all-time series 10-0-1, the 0-0 tie coming in 2003 in Stillwater. Karen Hancock is in her seventh year as the head coach of the Cowgirls.
