The 10th-ranked Texas A&M soccer team (15-3-2) will defend its 2004 Big 12 Tournament title on Sunday at Blossom Soccer Complex when it takes on the No. 2 seed Colorado Buffaloes (12-6-3) at 1:00 p.m.

Friday afternoon, the top-seeded Aggies beat the No. 4 seed Huskers, 4-2, the game-winner coming in the second half off a shot from the arc by Melissa Garey. Ashlee Pistorius contributed two of the Aggies?â„¢ four goals, Kat Krambeer and Garey had the remaining two.
Colorado beat Texas in the second semifinal match, Friday, on a shot taken by Allison Kidd just over a minute into overtime to give the Buffaloes a 3-2 victory.
A&M leads the all-time series against Colorado 12-0-1. This season the Aggies beat CU, 2-1, at the Aggie Soccer Stadium on a goal by Suzzette Devloo in the second half.
The Aggies hold a 3-0 advantage over Colorado in Big 12 tournament play. The two teams faced-off at the Blossom Soccer Complex in 2000 with A&M winning 3-1, 2002 with A&M winning 3-1 and 2004 with A&M winning 3-1.
Heading into the championship game, Pistorius has totaled the most points in the conference (47); she also has the league lead in goals scored (18), in second with the most goals scored is Garey (16). Kati Jo Spisak remains in first place with the best goals against average in the league (0.81) and is tied for the league lead in shutouts with seven.
FOX Sports Net will televise the championship match between A&M and Colorado from the Blossom Soccer Stadium on a tape-delay basis. Check local listings for viewing in your area.
