The Big 12 Champion Texas A&M soccer team earned its 11th consecutive trip to the NCAA tournament and will meet Northwestern State (13-5-1) in the first round of the NCAA Championships on Friday at 8 p.m. at the Aggie Soccer Stadium.

The 10th-ranked Aggies (16-3-2) are also hosting a tournament match for the 11th straight season. SMU (14-4-2) and North Texas (16-3-2) will play before A&M on Friday at 5 p.m.

The two winners will meet on Sunday at 2 p.m. with a berth in the Sweet 16 on the line.

The University of North Texas Mean Green and the Lady Demons of Northwestern State both won their conference tournaments for an automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament. SMU enters the first round as an at large bid.

A&M has a 13-10-1 all-time record in NCAA tournament play.

Season ticket holders will have until the end of the business day on Wednesday, November 9 to reserve their current seats.

The ticket gate will open one and a half hours prior to the match. Tickets are available by calling the Athletic Ticket Office at 1-888-99-AGGIE or by visiting www.aggieathletics.com.
