Texas A&M will honor its five seniors Wednesday when the Aggies close out their regular-season home schedule against Iowa State at 6:30 p.m. at G. Rollie White Coliseum.

Aggies Cristin Burton, Holly Clay, Kendra Felder, Laura Jones and Kari Kelley will be playing their final regular season home match and will be recognized prior to the match and honored in a special presentation immediately following the match.

A&M (15-12 overall, 8-10 Big 12), which has never lost a Big 12 match to Iowa State, is riding a four-match winning streak and has won six of its last seven matches after sweeping Texas Tech, 30-28, 30-28, 30-25 Monday at G. Rollie White Coliseum.

Jones, who has set the A&M records for both kills in a career and kills in a season, leads the Aggies with 6.0 kills and 6.66 points per game. Junior Christi Hahn, the AVCA National Player of the Week and the Big 12 Player of the Week, leads the Aggies with a .320 hitting percentage and is second on the team with 2.80 kills and 3.58 points per game. Clay, who ranks seventh in the A&M season records with 426 digs, leads the team and is second in the league with 4.18 digs per game.

Iowa State (15-14 overall, 8-10 Big 12) is experiencing its best year in the history of the Big 12 and is coming off its second consecutive victory after sweeping Texas Tech in Lubbock on Saturday. The Cyclones, who have doubled their record for most wins in a Big 12 season, are tied with A&M for sixth place in the league standings.

Katie Jessen leads the Cyclones with 3.24 kills per game, and Erin Boeve leads the team with 1.64 blocks per game.

A&M is riding a 20-match winning streak against Iowa State and is 21-1 all-time against the Cyclones, including 19-0 in Big 12 matches. The teams met last month in Ames, where Iowa State easily won the first game but couldn?â„¢t hold off the Aggies, who came back to take the match, 18-30, 36-34, 30-25, 30-27.

The Aggies conclude the regular season Saturday at No. 10 Missouri. Match time is 6:30 p.m. at Hearnes Center in Columbia. It will be A&M?â„¢s fourth match in an eight-day span.

The NCAA 64-team tournament field will be announced Sunday at 1:30-2 p.m. (CST) on ESPNews. A&M, which has made 12 consecutive appearances in the postseason tournament, will serve as host of an NCAA Regional, Dec. 9-10 at G. Rollie.
