Senior, midfielder, Laura Probst was named to CoSIDA Academic All-America District 6 1st Team, the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) announced this week.
To be eligible for this honor, a student-athlete must have a 3.20 grade point average or better and participate in at least 50% of the team?â„¢s competitions and be classified a sophomore or older in both athletic and academic eligibility.
Academically, Probst has accumulated numerous awards. In 2003, 2004 and 2005 she was 1st Team Academic All-Big 12. During the 2004 season Probst was named to the NSCAA/adidas Women?â„¢s South Region Scholar All-America Team.
Members of the CoSIDA Academic All-American first team move on to the national ballot.
