Texas A&M Athletics has teamed with local home builder Campbell Custom Homes to offer $1 admission to the No. 24-ranked Aggies?â„¢ game against defending national champion No. 12 Baylor on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Reed Arena.

Dollar tickets must be purchased in person at the Reed Arena Box Office or at the Athletic Ticket Center at Kyle Field.

Fans will also enjoy $1 hot dogs and $1 Coke products.

?This is a great chance for every one in Bryan-College Station and the surrounding area to come watch this team play and you just give your buck at the ticket window,? A&M coach Gary Blair said. ?I?â„¢ve wanted to do a dollar night since I?â„¢ve been here and I?â„¢m happy that Olivia Campbell and Campbell Custom Homes has stepped up to the plate to make this happen.?

Blair?â„¢s goal is to set a new attendance record at Reed Arena for women?â„¢s basketball.

Last year, A&M hosted postseason NIT action on the same night for the women and men and attracted a crowd of 8,532. It was largest crowd to see the women play.

Earlier this season, the women hosted 5,565 fans for its game against Oklahoma. It was the largest crowd to see a women?â„¢s stand alone game at Reed Arena.

?People need to take advantage of the dollar day because it can be a fun family night,? Blair said. ?I will be extremely disappointed if we don?â„¢t set our attendance record that night.?

The Aggies are in second place in the Big 12 Conference with a 19-5 overall record and a 8-3 mark in the league. A&M won three games in seven days last week by topping Texas Tech at home before beating Texas and Nebraska on the road.
