Josh Carter and Joseph Jones each added 14 points for A&M. Carter's layup with 8.9 seconds left put the Aggies ahead 62-58, but Tommy Swanson's tip-in cut the Baylor deficit to two. Swanson added 12 points and had a career-high 14 rebounds. A&M's Antana Kavaliauskas added 10 points, going 5-for-5 from the field.
