Texas A&M will host UNC Greensboro, Utah and Missouri State at the annual Domino's Pizza Aggie Baseball Classic this Friday through Monday at Olsen Field.
The Aggies have started the season with an unblemished record of 8-0 after a Tuesday night win over Texas-Arlington and a three-game sweep of Northern Colorado last weekend. It marks the sixth time since 1990 the Aggies have started the season with at least eight straight wins. The last time the Aggies accomplished the feat was in 2004, when they started the season with 10 straight wins. In 1990, 1994 and 1998, A&M started the season 9-0. In 1993, A&M started the season 14-0.

Missouri State, a member of Missouri Valley Conference, will be playing their first four games of the season this weekend. Last year, MSU went 26-29 overall and 10-14 in the MVC.
UNC Greensboro, from the Southern Conference, enters the tourney with a record of 1-3 after defeating High Point, 8-7, on Tuesday. The Spartans opened the season by getting swept by Georgia (6-7, 8-9 and 3-7).
Utah, representing the Mountain West Conference, has a record of 4-5 in the early going of the 2006 season. Most recently, Utah won two of three games against UC-Davis last weekend.
TICKETS
Tickets to all Texas A&M home games can be purchased by calling the Texas A&M Athletic Ticket Office at (979) 845-2311 or (888) 99-AGGIE. Fans may also purchase tickets online at 12thmanfoundation.com. The gates at Olsen Field open 90 minutes prior to first pitch for non-conference games and two hours prior to first pitch for conference games.
RADIO
All Texas A&M baseball games will be broadcast live on WTAW AM-1620. Dave South, The Voice of the Aggies, will call the action and will be assisted throughout the season by Tom Turbiville, Chuck Glenewinkel and Gabe Bock. The pre-game show will begin 30 minutes prior to the start of each game.

PROBABLE TEXAS A&M STARTING ROTATION
- GAME 1: Kyle Nicholson - Junior - RHP
Kyle Nicholson, a junior righty, will start the first game of the weekend for the third weekend in a row. He enters the game with a record of 1-0 and an ERA of 3.86. Nicholson has 11 strikeouts and just one walk in 9 1/3 innings. Nicholson earned the win in his first start against Northwestern State (2/10) by tossing 5 1/3 innings and allowing four runs - one earned - on seven hits. He lasted just four innings in his second start of the season against Northern Colorado (2/17).
- GAME 2: Kyle Thebeau - Freshman - RHP
Kyle Thebeau, a true freshman, has earned his third start of the season. Thebeau has a record of 1-0 and an ERA of 0.79. He earned his first career win against Northern Colorado (2/17) by tossing six scoreless innings and allowing just one hit and striking out nine. For the season, he has 16 strikeouts and has walked just five hitters in 11 1/3 innings of work. He has also surrendered just three hits during that span.
- GAME 3: Austin Creps - Junior - RHP
Austin Creps, a junior right-hander and Texas Collegiate League Pitcher of the Year, will also be making his third start of the season. Creps has pitched a total of 14 1/3 innings in his previous two starts and has allowed just eight hits on the season. He owns a record of 1-0 and an ERA of 0.63. Creps allowed just five hits, while striking out four in 7 1/3 innings in his last outing against Northern Colorado (2/19).
- GAME 4: Chance Corgan - Sophomore - RHP
Chance Corgan, who has started both Tuesday games for the Aggies this year, will move his start up a day to Monday against UNC Greensboro. Corgan also has a relief appearance. He enters the weekend with a record of 2-0 and an ERA of 3.00. He has allowed eight hits and has fanned 17 hitters in 12 innings of work.
SERIES INFORMATION
Texas A&M has never played Missouri State or North Carolina-Greensboro. The Aggies faced Utah three times, with the Utes holding an all-time advantage of 1-2.
The last meeting between the two schools was in 2003 at the Domino's Pizza Aggie Baseball Classic. The Utes and Aggies split two games. Utah won the first matchup, 4-1, and A&M won the second, 5-1.
The other game played between A&M and Utah was in 1951 when the Utes eliminated the Aggies from the College World Series by the score of 15-8.
SUPER START
The Aggies, under first-year head coach Rob Childress, are off to one of the best starts in school history with a record of 8-0. Since 1990, A&M has started the season with at least eight wins six times. The last time the Aggies did it was in 2004, when they started the season with 10 straight wins.
