The 14th-ranked Texas A&M softball team returns home this weekend when the Aggies host the St. Joseph Texas A&M Invitational at the Aggie Softball Complex.
The four-day, four-team tournament will feature the Aggies along with BYU, College of Charleston and Texas Southern. Action will get underway with a single game Thursday at 6:30 p.m. when the Aggies meet BYU.

A&M (11-6) enters the weekend following a 2-0 win over Sam Houston State Wednesday in Huntsville. Sophomore Amanda Scarborough tossed a one-hit shutout in the win over the Bearkats while sophomore Megan Gibson drove in both runs.
BYU heads to College Station with a record of 10-4. The Cougars, who advanced to the NCAA Tournament in 2005, are receiving votes in both major polls and are coming off a 2-2 showing at the Crowne Plaza Classic last week in Houston.
College of Charleston, another NCAA team from '05, has won six straight and brings a 10-5 record into the weekend. The Cougars swept both Charleston Southern and Oakland University in mid-week doubleheaders.
Texas Southern (1-7) enters on a four-game losing skid and has not played since dropping both games of a doubleheader at No. 19 LSU on Feb. 22.
The Aggies are 6-0 at home this season and a combined 34-3 the last two years.
