Texas A&M sophomore Joseph Jones has been named to the All-Big 12 second team and junior Acie Law is a third-team selection, highlighting the Phillips 66 All-Big 12 Men's Basketball Awards.

The All-Big 12 awards are selected by the league?â„¢s head coaches, who are not allowed to vote for their own players.

Teammates P.J. Tucker and LaMarcus Aldridge of Texas were named Player and Defensive Player of the Year, respectively. Oklahoma's Michael Neal was picked as Newcomer of the Year, Kansas' Brandon Rush is Freshman of the Year and Kansas Bill Self earned Coach of the Year honors.

Jones averaged 15.6 points and 6.7 rebounds and ranked fourth in the league in double-doubles with five. Law led the team in scoring with a 16.0 average and assists with 3.8 per game. The pair earned honorable mention all-conference honors last season.

This is the fourth straight year that at least two Aggies have earned All-Big 12 honors.

The All-Big 12 First, Second, Third and Honorable Mention teams were also announced, while conference coaches also selected All-Defensive and All-Rookie Teams for the first time.
