The Texas A&M baseball team will look to end a three-game losing streak Tuesday, when it plays Houston at Cougar Field. First pitch is set for 7 p.m.

The Aggies dropped to 14-9 overall and to 0-3 in the Big 12 after suffering a series sweep to Missouri this past weekend.

The Cougars enter the game with a record of 13-11 after dropping two of three games to San Diego on the weekend. Houston will start play in Conference USA this weekend.

A&M will start freshman right-hander Kyle Thebeau. Thebeau appeared in two games out of the bullpen last weekend, after starting a game in each of the first five weekends. For the season, he has a record of 1-2 and an ERA of 2.25. He allowed just 14 hits in 24 innings and has accumulated 21 strikeouts in that span.

Houston will counter with lefty Matt Farrington. Farrington?â„¢s last outing resulted in a 5-3 win against Baylor last Tuesday. For the season, Farrington is 1-3 with a 4.18 ERA. In 23 2/3 innings he has lowed 28 hits and has 12 strikeouts.

Texas A&M holds the all-time advantage over their former Southwest Conference foe, 101-50-1. The Aggies have won four of the last five games played between the two schools, including winning two of the three meetings last year.

A&M and Houston will play again on April 18 at Olsen Field.
