The Texas A&M baseball team will host Texas Tech in a three-game Big 12 series this Friday through Sunday at Olsen Field.
The Aggies enter the weekend with an overall record of 15-9 after an exciting 3-2 win over Houston on Tuesday at Cougar Field.
A&M will look to improve on its 0-3 Big 12 mark after being swept by Missouri in three close games last weekend.

The Red Raiders come to College Station with an overall record of 18-7 after defeating Wayland Baptist, 6-4, Tuesday.
Texas Tech opened Big 12 play last weekend by winning one of two games against Texas in Lubbock. The third game of the series was rained out.
Texas A&M holds the all-time advantage against the Red Raiders, 82-48-0. Tech took two of three games in Lubbock last season and A&M won two of three in 2004 in College Station.

The gates at Olsen Field open 90 minutes prior to first pitch for non-conference games and two hours prior to first pitch for conference games.

Saturday's game will be broadcast by Cox Sports Television. Will Johnson, host of the Aggie Sports Connection and the Billy Gillespie Show, will provide play-by-play for the broadcast. RADIO
All Texas A&M baseball games will be broadcast live on WTAW AM-1620. Dave South, The Voice of the Aggies, will call the action and will be assisted throughout the season by Tom Turbiville, Chuck Glenewinkel and Gabe Bock. The pre-game show will begin 30 minutes prior to the start of each game.

PROBABLE TEXAS A&M STARTING ROTATION
- GAME 1: Kyle Nicholson - Junior - RHP
Kyle Nicholson, a junior righty, will start the first game of the weekend for the seventh weekend in a row. He enters the game with a record of 3-1 and an ERA of 2.59. Nicholson has 24 strikeouts and just four walks in 31 1/3 innings. He is averaging 5.22 innings per start. Nicholson earned the win in his first start against Northwestern State (2/10) by tossing 5 1/3 innings and allowing four runs - one earned - on seven hits. He lasted just four innings in his second start of the season against Northern Colorado (2/17). He rebounded with a solid outing (6 1/3 IP, 3 H, 1 ER, 6 K) to earn his second win of the year against UNC Greensboro (2/24) and threw six shutout innings against Florida. Against Notre Dame, he left the game after 5 1/3 innings and allowed one run on four hits. In his last start against Missouri, Nicholson suffered his second loss of the season. He allowed three runs on seven hits.
- GAME 2: Austin Creps - Junior - RHP
Austin Creps, a junior right-hander and Texas Collegiate League Pitcher of the Year, will make his second Saturday start after starting on Sunday the first five weeks of the season. Creps has pitched a total of 40 1/3 innings in his previous six starts and has allowed just 32 hits on the season. He owns a record of 2-2, an ERA of 0.89 and is averaging 6.72 innings per start. Creps was the tough-luck loser in a game against Missouri State, allowing three runs in five innings of work in the 3-2 loss. He came back strong with a 7 1/3 inning performance against Florida where he allowed three hits, struck out five and did not walk a man. He also shouldered the loss against UTSA after throwing 7 2/3 innings and not allowing an earned run. Creps did not earn a decision against Missouri, as he left with a 4-1 lead and the Aggies lost 6-5 in extra innings. In his six starts, the Aggie offense has scored 14 runs for an average of 2.33 runs per game.
- GAME 3: Chance Corgan - Sophomore - RHP
Chance Corgan, a sophomore right-hander, will make his second straight weekend start of the year after starting the Aggies' mid week game the first four weeks of the season. Corgan enters the weekend with a record of 3-1 and an ERA of 2.90 in 31 innings of work. He has one appearance out of the bullpen. Corgan was stellar in his last start against Missouri, allowing just one unearned run in 7 2/3 innings of work. He struck out 10 Tiger hitters and walked four. He suffered the loss as the Aggies were shutout, 3-0.

SERIES INFORMATION
Texas A&M and Texas Tech have played 130 times with the Aggies holding the all-time advantage over the Red Raiders, 82-48-0.
Since the start of the Big 12 Conference in 1997, Texas Tech holds the advantage over A&M, 15-16. In the last 10 games, the Aggies and Red Raiders have each won five.
A&M and Tech have played 26 regular-season Big 12 games and the series is tied 13-13 in those contests.
There has been nine regular-season series played between A&M and Tech. A&M has five series wins and swept the Red Raiders at Olsen Field in 2002. Tech has two sweeps in the series - both in Lubbock. Tech won both games in 1999 and all three in 2001.
Tech holds the advantage in Lubbock, 10-4, and A&M holds the advantage in College Station, 9-3.
The two schools have met five times in the Big 12 Tournament, with the Red Raiders winning three of the five.
Last year in Lubbock, Tech won two of three games against the Ags. The Red Raiders jumped all over A&M in the series opener, running away with a 13-1 win. A&M could not get going offensively in the second game, as the Aggies dropped a 1-0 decision. A&M salvaged the last game of the series, 7-5.
