The Texas A&M soccer team continued its undefeated run through its spring season on Sunday. The Aggies, the 2004 and 2005 defending Big 12 Soccer Champions, are now 8-0-0 for the season after beating the Sunbelt Conference champion UNT Eagles 10-4 and Stephen F. Austin 8-2 in 7-on-7 games. A&M then beat the Conference USA Tournament Champion, Rice Owls, 4-1 in an 11-on-11 game to wrap up the day at the Aggie Soccer Stadium.

In the game against Rice, four different Aggies found the back of the net, as A&M outshot Rice 7-2. Madison Klovstad, Paige Carmichael and Laura Grace Robinson each scored for A&M in the first half, while Amy Berend scored the only goal of the second half.

The Aggies final home game of the season will be this coming Friday night against a Chinese National Select team. The Chinese will be on a 10-day tour of Texas, known as the Panda Cup, where they will play A&M, SMU, TCU, UNT and the University of Tulsa.

?We have had a nice spring season so far,? commented Aggie head coach G Guerrieri. ?This is the time of year where we focus on player development and try to utilize games against solid opponents to help us challenge and teach our players. We are all excited about the opportunity to get another International game this coming Friday, and we?â„¢re especially proud to be able to host the Chinese here in College Station.?

Kickoff for the game between China and Texas A&M will be at 7 p.m. at the Aggie Soccer Stadium.
