The Texas A&M baseball team, fresh off a Big 12 series win over Texas Tech, will travel to Beaumont, Texas, Tuesday to play Lamar. First pitch is set for 6:30 p.m. at Vincent-Beck Stadium.

A&M won two of three games against the Red Raiders to improve to 17-10 overall and to 2-4 in Big 12 action. The Aggies have won three of their last four contests.
Lamar enters the game with a record of 19-10 after sweeping Stephen F. Austin last weekend to improve to 7-2 in the Southland Conference.
The Aggies hold the series advantage over the Cardinals, 32-7-0. A&M has won six straight dating back to the 2001 season and eight of their last 10 going back to 1996.
Last year the Aggies slipped by the Cardinals at Olsen Field, 7-6. Parker Dalton had three of A&M's eight hits in the game.
Jason Meyer, a junior left-hander, will toe the rubber for the Aggies. Meyer has seen action in 14 games this year - all out of the bullpen. He has no decisions, one save and an ERA of 3.93. In 18.1 innings of work, he has allowed 17 hits and struck out 16 batters.
Lamar will counter with lefty Derrick Gordon. Gordon will be making his 10th appearance and seventh start of the season. He is 2-2 with a 5.04 ERA through 30 1/3 innings. He has allowed 29 hits and struck out 35 hitters.
