The Texas A&M baseball team will look to end a three-game losing streak Tuesday, when they host No. 4 Rice at 7 p.m. at Olsen Field.

The Aggies suffered three tough losses to Oklahoma State over the weekend to drop to 18-13 overall and 2-7 in Big 12 play. All three of the games were one-run losses with the Cowboys scoring runs in the bottom of the ninth in each of the three games to win.

Rice swept Tulane in a three-game series this past weekend in New Orleans to improve to 24-8 and 5-1 in Conference USA action.

The Aggies and Owls, both former members of the Southwest Conference, have squared off 258 times with A&M holding the all-time advantage, 171-85-2. Rice has won eight of the last 10 games played between the two schools.

Jordan Chambless, a sophomore right-hander, will make his first career start for Texas A&M. A mainstay out of the bullpen, Chambless has 14 appearances this year and boasts an ERA of 2.16. In 16 2/3 innings of work, he has 21 strikeouts and has allowed only 12 hits. He is 1-3 with three saves.
